Electronic Data Interchange
At AWG, we believe that doing business with our vendor partners should be easy. With EDI, information is exchanged electronically thereby replacing the traditional processes of sending paper or faxes.
Our purpose is to create one access point that will generate efficiencies by allowing both internal and external users access to information from multiple systems and sets of data within many disciplines while streamlining current processes.
For information related to the actual order, such as dates, UPC codes, prices, allowances, the contact person would be the buyer. The buyer’s name and telephone number is included in the EDI transmission.
